MBA Business Informatics
An MBA for people caught between a business unit and IT who are expected to lead both. The programme combines corporate management with data analytics, IT management and digital business models, runs fully online and starts at any time. The degree is awarded under Austrian law by Burgenland University of Applied Sciences.
My take I am studying this MBA myself. What I say about structure, support and credit transfer comes first-hand, not from a brochure.
Who this programme is built for

Who the programme suits
- Specialists and managers who run IT projects without an IT background
- IT professionals who need the business side for their next step
- Working professionals with relevant experience who need a recognised master's degree but cannot attend on campus
Entry requirements
- 90 ECTS: a relevant degree at bachelor level or above (at least 180 ECTS), two years of relevant work experience, minimum age 21
- 120 ECTS: an academic degree plus two years of work experience, or university entrance qualification plus four years of work experience (two of them relevant), or completed vocational training plus five years of work experience (two of them relevant)

What can be credited
Every credited module saves time and money. How much is possible depends on your prior learning.
Up to 30 ECTS can be credited in the 90 ECTS variant and up to 60 ECTS in the 120 ECTS variant. A completed DAS programme is credited with the full 30 ECTS. I check what applies in your case before you apply.
